P.C. Ku
P. C. Ku received the B.S. degree from the National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, in 1995 and the Ph.D. degree from the University of California, Berkeley, in 2003, both in electrical engineering. He was a recipient of the Berkeley Fellowship during his PhD study.
From 1996 to 1998, he was a Navy Ensign in Naval Technical School, Taiwan. From 2003 to 2004, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Center for Optoelectronic Nanostructured Semiconductor Technology (CONSRT) at Berkeley. From 2004 to 2005, he was with Intel Corporation, where his focused on the phase change memory and advanced lithography.
Starting from 2006, he has been an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of Michigan Ann Arbor.
His current research is centered on applying nanofabrication for short wavelength and nanoscale optoelectronic devices and all-semiconductor solid state lighting.
P.C. Ku is a MMPEI Faculty Fellow.
