Volker Sick

Research

Volker Sick earned a diplom (1998), doctorate (1992), and Habilitation (1997) in Physical Chemistry from the University of Heidelberg, Germany. He joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering at University of Michigan in 1997.

His research focuses on the development and application of imaging diagnostics for non-intrusive measurements in reacting flows, such as combustion in internal combustion engines to identify chemical and physical fundamentals controlling direct-injection engine performance.

Volker Sick is a MMPEI Faculty Fellow.
